Parenting is so important to God and you do not have to be married to be a parent, but if it took two to conceive a child it sure will take two to achieve the balance, discipline and the love needed to raise that given child. This is the root of our communities and if we do not get to the root of the matter the fruit will not be good.

Especially in the black communities over eighty percent of our homes are single parent homes and I believe this is a huge problem in our society, it just takes one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch. Yes even though it is possible for a mother to raise her children on her own, it is not the way the master has designed it, and we must not look over the needs of the children involved in this situation. Every child has the right to have both his mother and his father actively involved in his or her life; every child has the right to eat a good breakfast in the morning before they go to school. Every child has the right to have both his parents at the soccer or football game.

What I am saying is if we could get rid of single parenting we will well be on the way to building stronger communities and stronger role models for the world.

Here are some of the laws that I recommend that will help to eradicate Single Parenting.

Cameron Daniel Fray

I

If a man is forced to pay child support for a child, he should be sentenced to spend 20 hours a week minimum with that child without any interference from the mother. This could take place at a community centre or at a home where ever is deemed best for the child.

II

P-5 license-if a child is conceived between two, both parties involved should be automatically enrolled in the parental five licenses which means they both have to take courses and be monitored until that child reaches the age of five, by then we will not assume but we will know if a long lasting bond has been formed.

III

Equate lying to abuse, and if a women or man is caught lying they should face jail time just as if a man or a woman would if they did abuse hit or beat each other or a child.

IV

If a woman does not know who the father of the child is she should be charged with reckless endangerment and forced to pay for the test to prove who the father is.

V

If the father cannot be found the mother of the child should be made to find a father figure for that child i.e. Uncle, brother, community member, or church member.

VI

Anyone that is caught leaving their children unattended at an early age should face stiff penalties, and brought to justice.

VII

We need to review our welfare system and realize that giving the women a place to live and monies is not always the best thing to do, but it should be of such that the Father is interviewed and give the fair chance to get, and give support for the child. If we keep on making it easy for the Mother to get housing for these children especially when the mother has to prove that the father is no longer involved with her life.  We are just establishing more and more single parent homes that allow the mothers to do whatever they want to do like, i.e. Prostitution drugs and just become plain old lazy not having to strive for what is right or better for the life of that child.

VIII

No one should ever have the right to change a child’s name without the consent of both parents, who are at peace with one another. No government should allow such a thing the children will lose their foundations and their heritage.

IX

No Father or mother should be able to move out of a country or province after the conception of their child for up to 5 years once that child is born for any reason I.e. school, work, and pleasure no matter what.

X

Discipline –Mothers and Fathers should be allowed to discipline their children in a marked way i.e. spanking on their bums and hands, or whatever else works as they get older like i.e. time outs, grounding and other things. If this is not so it will be very much so illegal for the government to allow police officers to use excessive force in apprehending our children and charges would be laid and monies paid for any ill treatment of a child that is miss treated who has been properly brought up by their Mother and Father.
