Who Are We?
Daddy’s House (DH) is non-profit charitable organization which aims to encourage, empower and facilitate estranged and/or absent fathers in improving the relationship and wellbeing of their children, by facilitating the rebuilding of broken relationships between fathers, their children and families; and to provide the infrastructure and support needed that families, specifically fathers can utilize to re-establish and maintain positive, healthy and loving relationships. As part of this commitment, DH aims to establish programs that will educate absentee fathers about the important role they play in the lives of their families. Daddy’s House also aims to provide services that will offer advice and support on an array of familial and community issues including employment; and provide mentoring services to families where no paternal relationships have been established or maintained.
Mission:
We at Daddy’s House believe that “it takes a whole village, to raise a child”. Our mission is to rebuild communities throughout Canada by returning the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of children back to the fathers; and strengthening relationships between absent fathers, their children and their families holistically.
Daddy’s House was founded in 2003.
